Bayonetta
S TierBayonetta excels with her potent combo potential and powerful ledge guarding, utilizing moves like Bullet Climax and Witch Twist to maintain pressure on opponents. Her Side Special, Heel Slide, can be a great tool for punishing aggressive approaches, while Witch Time is essential for countering attacks and creating openings. However, she struggles against smaller characters like Pichu, who can evade her smash attacks and capitalize on her end lag, making it crucial to use Witch Time and well-timed smashes to turn the tide. To maximize her recovery, practice chaining Witch Twists and be mindful of her landing lag by mixing up your gun usage before touching the ground.

Tips for Bayonetta
- Distract your opponents with your ass.
- Changing guns a little bit just before landing lets you sheild or roll out of it, bringing the 40+ frames of landing lag after a combo down to about 10-15.
- Make sure you get comfortable with her triple jump and grab the ledge to avoid huge landing lag. Directional air dodge helps a lot for this.
- Be sure to jump, and then use two witch twists (recoveries). When you do this, you will be able to jump again, and then will be rewarded yet another witch twist. Here, you are maximizing your recovery
- Bayonetta sometimes struggles against very small characters, like Pichu, who can sneak under her smash attacks and punish the end lag. Use witch time and side specials, then smashes to punish.
