S TierChrom excels at aggressive play with strong combo potential thanks to his quick moves like Jab and F Smash, which can easily set up for aerial attacks. Utilizing his neutral special, Flare Blade, can provide significant damage output, while his Side Special, Double-Edge Dance, allows for devastating follow-ups. However, Chrom struggles against zoning characters who can keep him at bay, as his recovery with Soaring Slash can be predictable and punishable if overused. Be mindful of using his Down Special, Counter, effectively to turn the tide against aggressive opponents, but avoid relying too heavily on it to maintain unpredictability in your gameplay.

Tips for Chrom
- Oh gosh oh Frick I meant down tilt not Dedede tilt
- Don't hunt for suicides. Jab and F Smash are very good tools, along with Dedede tilt for the speed. Use that to start one of Chroms many good aerial, and even one of the few neutral combos
- Only do Chromicide when a stock above your opponent now
- Using Chrom's Up-B out of shield becomes pretty handy if your opponent is pressuring you, just do not become so obvious as to use it all the time.
- Don't be afraid to chromicide if your opponent has a large percentage lead on you. You'll start a new stock even with the opponent rather than risking giving him a stock lead.
