Tips for Chrom

Don't hunt for suicides. Jab and F Smash are very good tools, along with Dedede tilt for the speed. Use that to start one of Chroms many good aerial, and even one of the few neutral combos

Only do Chromicide when a stock above your opponent now

Using Chrom's Up-B out of shield becomes pretty handy if your opponent is pressuring you, just do not become so obvious as to use it all the time.

Don't be afraid to chromicide if your opponent has a large percentage lead on you. You'll start a new stock even with the opponent rather than risking giving him a stock lead.

Don't play Chrome or smash in general if your racist, your probably gonna not be good due to you being racist.

Combo: Nair to fair to up-b. The bigger the character the easier it is. Start at 0

Keep in mind that Chrom is the same as Roy except for the sword hitbox difference and the up B. A good combo is up tilt up tilt up smash up B

Nearly all of Chrom's tools are borked, fishing for suicides is a meme against most competent players. Hit training mode to get consistent with jab>bair, and learn to mix up your airdodge recoveries

Chrom doesn't play like Roy. He's more of a mix between Roy's rushdown style and spacing, and his lack of a sweet spot means that some of the combos that work for Roy don't work for chrom.

Learn to space your up B recoveries. Lots of people think every counter will **** up Chrom's recovery but this ain't true (except against joker lol). Going a little lower or to the side can help
