This is a very niche use but I still feel like it could be helpful. If your opponent is at 120% or higher, you can jab up b them and it's a true combo. Use it as a mixup occasionally.

Dr. Mario’s Down-B won’t help you help you recover vertically. It’s best to use it for recovering horizontally.

Cape can actually 2-frame opponents or people that regrab, and combos into either down smash, up smash, or up-b depending on the character. This is especially useful against Fox (cape d-smash him).

Landing nair combos into d-tilt grab at low to mid percents, which can do up to 50% after the throw combo. Also, only use tornado to recover if you have to, because it has lot of end lag.

Use nair more. It's so good. Landing nair is so safe on shield and combos/sets up for jab locks, nair offstage can gimp/kill opponents, and nair on ledge covers so many options.

Dr. Mario excels at combos. And down throw is a good start. He has range issues, so sometimes he's forced to fight close. It's riskier for him to do so than Mario because of how slow he moves.

also up b out of shield is really good at punishing people / including upsmash use up b outofshield if opponent have less landing lag upsmash can be little bit slow which they can react by shielding

if opponent is somewhere around mid percentage , try to up b out of their combo , if it not true , don't try to up b when they are lower percentage which they can punish you back

D-Air is pretty good for spikes, but also combos into Up B and U-Air at 50%

down throw, jump, back air, back air, jump, down b (spam b) this combo kills easily ( a zero to death combo) and will have your opponent dead, do it on edge

cape also goes down to edge so pop up the person holding ledge and up b them if they re-grab or if you're feeling risky you can try to two frame

You want to approach with pills and gimp the opponents recovery with em. Stomp to fair works (i guess), and use his tornado to kill at 45 near the blastzone. Fsmash kills: charg-38% uncharged-65-80%.

When using down b, go up a little bit to bait opponents if they’re shielding.

Doctor Marios down b has small amounts of super armor.
