Lucina's speed and range are her greatest assets. Her Aerial moveset is quick, so rely on that to get in range of the opponent

Don’t play Marth

Do not spam side B. I used to, but I got better by using aerials. You can use it, but no spam.

Lucina will find difficulty killing, even in the higher percentages. Her best utility is to stay aggressive, racking up damage. Edge guarding, ledge trapping, and spacing are must have skills as well

Lucina has no tipper. Meaning she's better up-close, is better with smaller characters, and can kill more reliably than Marth. But even without the tipper she can space well. Avoid getting comboed.

Just because some people hate on her doesn't mean you shouldn't main her shes got great spacing and played right is incredibly strong main Lucina myself and she can easily out range people

Be sure to aim when you recover. I had plenty of times where I accidentally lost a game by dolphin slashing away from the stage T_T

Use Lucina against characters without good projectiles , good range, OR good move speed, people tend to forget move speed and get bodied by characters like fox since they move too quick too hit.

Lucina has great egde-guarding tools and considerd a top tier in egde guarding because of her many great egde guarding moves

Just don't get stressed, if your not stressed while playing Lucina, you can rack up combos up to 70 dmg, and I'm not lying, I just did it

Don't use shield breaker so much only use it at the right time if you use it a lot your opponent can punish you for it.

Use spaced aerials and cross ups to safely pressure your opponent and observe their defensive options. Do not mindlessly jump at your opponent with aerials unless they are cornered

Space lucina's aeirals so your safe on shield. Use a space landing fair but mix it up with tomahawks or a landing side b to get your opponents when they shield

Down-Tilt into run up down-smash is a kill confirm at high percents

You will generally want to pressure using her great aerials (nair and fair particularly). You can Utilt into guaranteed utilt at low percentages against most characters for an easy ~30%.

Up-air is very useful and a good juggling tool

Pick a different character, she’s boring, only presses the a button, you won’t feel accomplished winning as her, and no one will like you playing as her

Very good all rounded character, however is easily walled by a good projectile user. A good parry and nicely timed counter can do the trick at times, but mostly just use air attacks and her side B.

Just use Marth, his tipper while a bit hard to aim, is just a better killing option. Guess the flat lad should try harder

Lucina is gay,but the whole cast is gay,and being one of the gayest makes her a viable choice.
