Try using tilts more their very effective when spaced, Id say imagine a platform between you and your opponent about a half of that platform would be marth tipper range.

Marth excels at out spacing his opponent and keeping stage. You must stay patient in order to gain the most benefits out of his tilts and ariels. Always remain calm and choose you attacks wisely

Spacing is key! You need to be able to space away from your opponent to get tippers and to keep them away

When you get the Boots, give them to Marth, since he is the only one who can seize and visit villages, he will be the one who needs to be the most mobile.

Noob level = Marth < Lucina. Pro level = Marth >>>>> Lucina. Master his tipper, he immediately becomes better than Lucina.

Upb is a kill move if you hit the sweetspot at the base of the move (useful for parry -> out of shield option), but use it sparingly

Marth's Dancing Blade is very good for spacing against dash dancing, but be careful against opponents that jump a lot.
