My fav combo: d-throw to nair to nair to fair ,explosive flame to down air. This has won me 7 tournaments. Also at ~80% nair to up smash to up air. Hope this helps!
You can force most opponents to approach from a difficult angle by using you B, and if your opponent if overly aggressive don't forget to counter(though don"t overdue it). P.S. Ariels are your life :)
Learn warp cancels!
Palutena's counter is a good way to stop Chrom, Link, and similar characters from recovering below the stage ledge when they use their Up-B recovery. More so, if you are facing towards the stage.
Just don't play her and look up **** of her. Way more worth your time!
For beginners do nair combos or at low percents down throw into fair
Lear how to use explosive flame and auto reticle and you will make the opponents life impossible. If you think they are going low try to edgeguard with auto reticle, It's actually really good!

use side taunt a lot
Make sure at low percents do a simple combo like dthrow to fair
If your opponent is near you before the start of the match, it is optional to perform neutral special (Autoreticle) when the match starts.
My favorite combo is nair, nair, nair, nair Down taunt, nair and T-bag
@ low% fair into grab is your best friend. Down throw into any aerial depending on DI. People tend to AirD towards you to get out of Dthrow-Fair. Nair is a free edgeguard against most of the cast.
Abuse the invincibility frames on her Bair and dash attack
Don't just spam nair lol it'll get you punished 90% of the time try to space aerials while mixing in empty hops, and try to find dash attacks or grabs when the opponent is jumping in neutral

For any serious Palutena player Lear to Reverse Aerial Rush (RAR) Down throw to back air is probably your best kill confirm . will ko most of the cast below 100% on the ledge in final destination .
I liked her Wii U ver. better, she was a lot more balanced. Anyway, her N-Air is one of her best moves, but Up-Smash should help against those jumpy characters, and her other specials are for all else

Expolisive flame and autowin are annoying.Use them.

The 1st hit of nair has a lot of huitstun, because of this, you can do 1st hit nair to any smash attack as a true combo all the ay to death percent. Down smash is most consistent though.
