People will always try to have a plan for your arrows as a pit player, so, basically don’t be a spammy player. Use it when they won’t expect it. Play like you would against a team, move around a lot
-
Down tilt leads into forward air at almost all percents
-
On low percents if you fast fall a nair go for a grab.
On mid percents go for a down tilt or up tilt.
On high percents you can go for a foward smash or side tilt if you wanna play safe.
-
It’s best to only use Pit’s Side B to either recover from ledge or break through a flurry of jabs from the opponent (except Zelda’s?). It typically kills around 130% if you’re feeling ballsy, though.
-
Down Throw to N-Air works at Low to relatively Mid-High percents, it's great for racking up damage.
-
Pit's Down-B is deceptively strong. It can be broken by a strong hit, but Pit will take no damage and have generally little lag. Use this when falling to bait out laggy moves and then punish them
-
Stay Positive! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍
-
if opponent nair's, arrow them to cancel it; then jab at close range. it makes ikes look like a wimp
-
Don't forget to down throw -> DAIR -> Nair/Up Air depending on the percents. Some Pit players just don't use dair entirely after down throw.
-
Use drag downs to your advantage, they are one of pits best tools and try to get stages with platforms so pit can get more drag downs. Very useful tbh.
-
Most of Pit's combos are mix-ups except down throw into aerials at low to mid-high percents. See what options your opponent does after drag down nair or down tilt and punish accordingly.
-
Don’t be scared to go off stage. Edge guarding with Nair can kill a big part of the roster.
-
to break a shield, attack by holding the bottom and right button, or grab to shield press the joystick down and use the button on the right. when you are close to your opponent use a physical.
-
Downthrow into downair into another aerial is like the go to combo starter, however you can land downthrow into upsmash on most characters until ~35%. And lastly, Downtilt doesn't combo if they DI out
-
If you can get the sweet spot on someone on stage about at 80~90, then up- smash it has a high chance to kill.
-
At low percents, down throw into up smash lands for about 24%
-
Here's how you can get down air to spike consistently: Don't, it won't work 90% of the time :)
-
Up Air And Forward Are Useful For Combos And Just Killing At 85%-Anything.
-
Down throw upsmash is a good combo that can work up to 40%. DONT be afraid of going offstage for edgeguarding.
-
Use many aerials attacks when your enemy is outside of the stage, the suficient for kill
-
Forward throw can kill a mid weight around 130 on ledge, pit is amazing for ledge trapping considering his lasting hit box Nair and his two framing down smash.
-
some of the items aren't worth getting.
-
Up b should do damage like 20 damage
-
Holy **** I hate pit so much he is the ******* worst guy, every time I fight one they always launch ******* progectiles and side b, sakurai made a ******* horrible decision including this abomination
-
Here's what you do: Take your controller, Go back to the character select screen, hit the B button and pick someone else because why the **** are you playing pit?
-
Side B kills consistently when the opponent is above 100%
