Pocket Wario’s bike to cripple his recovery until one of you dies
-
Pocket Zelda's Phantom Slash. It's ridiculously fast when thrown since you don't have to bulid the phantom like she did and the 1.9 multiplier applied to an already very strong move kills at low %
-
If you use a Lloid during neutral, a grounded opponent will usually shield or jump. Jumping almost always can be punished with a fair/bair. Great approach tool.
-
You can use your lloid rocket and slingshot together for distant combos. Most will try to jump your rocket, so when they do, shoot your slingshot. This kills all momentum, and sends them to the rocket
-
As a Villager main I have alot of tips,
If you plant a sapling and water & jump or move away while you are, The tree will not grow but the next time you water it the tree will grow instantly
-
Being able to pocket things is a good move, so dont ignore it!!! It is great counter play when against pit who leans on his bow!!! Make sure you time it perfectly because they are hard to catch.
-
Against a character that loves to say, "PK FIRE" or "TAKE THIS!" use your tree as a wall. It will gladly take hits for you, and you have access to the axe, which is a nice "get off me" move.
-
N-air is really good out of shield option and mostly, for my experience, villager n-air helps a lot to try to mess up recovery moves.
-
Pick the color that makes him look like he's on drugs
-
When do you have a tree, try to down trhow axe your opponents at low percents,it does more damage than down throw fair(it isn't true on light characters)
-
will fail their recovery. This works well on characters with a bad recovery. Another thing you can do is ledge guard when they fly of the screen. Just land a bowling ball (side smash) on their face!
-
Villager is great at edge guarding and the slingshot combos are unreal. Don't forget about the pocket ability and for some reason the tree is unnerving to opponents and makes them do stupid stuff.
-
Use the tree as a safety for a ridden lloid as you don't fall into a helpless state as long as you hit a damageable object.
-
Tree blocks projectiles use it can take 4 pk fires
-
Your pocket can cripple some characters gameplans, Like Link's Remote Bomb and Wario's Bike to name a few, you can also store powerful projectiles like Samus's Charge Shot and Robin's many Thunders.
-
When edge guarding, after you dropping the bowling ball if your opponent still grabbed the ledge, run back a little down smash, they usually roll so it a good trap
-
As a Villager main, I like to trick people by going under the stage and coming back on the other side. They will try to spike you, and if you know what you are doing, you'll survive. Then, they(cont.)

hes gay so just dont even try to approach him
