spam thos projectiles ***** it works
-
F air is a really good tool against heavy characters
-
Use projectiles to keep the rush down and swordies at a distance and zone them to create openings for kills
-
Work out how to land bombs and arrows consistently and then work on following attacks like up-special and down-air
-
SIde-B is a good combo tool. It can connect attacks like Fair and Up-B.
-
Spam those arrows it works every time.
-
Don’t recover predictably, mix up the recoveries and use a bomb almost every time, it might help in the long run
-
Dont be a **** who only spams projectiles. Link has a sword. mix up ur attacks and play like a chad not a sadlad
-
Young link doesn't have the best kill power but he can track up damage like it's nothing. If at any moment you have someone at the edge of the stage try to hit a down tilt to up B at 100 percent.
-
Dtilt is one of the best combo starters. A fast weak Nair can always go immediately into Dtilt at earlier percents. Learn your spacing to not get punished by whiffs and to grab defensive players.
-
Spam ******* projectiles
-
Z dropping bombs and both of his projectiles create openings. Young link can get caught in some really bad spots given his low kill power, so this helps. Follow up with side smash.
-
Young link's bair is a wonderful combo tool and one of the best tools in neutral. (Along with Nair)
A good way to approach is to use back-airs since it is generally safe on shield.
-
The most important thing for young link is combo game. Every projectile you land at mid range should get a follow up. Prime example being Boomerang>dragdown fair>dtilt>rising fair.
-
It is really good to learn c-bounces to control space.
-
Arrows are Young Link's most overrated projectiles. Boomerang, while slower, nets more damage and more consistent follow ups. Same goes for bombs. Mix up when you throw the bomb after pulling it.
-
Nair and Bair are incredibly fast moves that could be used as “get off me” tools out of shield
-
If your opponent has a reflector, it's not game over yet, just don't spam projectiles, only use them when necessary, also punish any chance you get.
-
Do NOT use down air when trying to spike to the void. If messed up, you could SD yourself!
-
Up b is young links best out of shield option when pressured, it combos into up air for a solid 30 damage, or back air if your opponent di’s. Use up b liberally.
-
Side b is your friend. On lower percents it combos into fair, neutral b, dtilt, up b etc. Neutral B goes into fair and up b as well
-
hes ngl kind of really ******* hot
-
Young Link has great combos and excellent projectiles you can use to keep opponents away while also stopping approaches. But he has a hard time closing a stock. So use these strengths as an advantage.
-
Don't Jinx the Yink, or else you get the hairy stick.
-
Mash the **** out of b you talentless *****.
-
Learn some combos with your projectiles, like Side-B to Fair. Down Throw can usually combo into Up B at low percentage, so does D tilt. And don't forget that you can still be aggressive with your swor
-
dont play him dont play him dont play him dont play him
-
Loses to fast sword characters and characters that otherwise can tear through projectiles just by playing their own neutral.
-
idk bro but nair is a pretty ******* kill move
-
projectile to fair works every time. my patented boom slash. is good.
-
Use bomb, then jump, shoot an uncharged arrow, jump again, fair, and boomerang. Repeat until victory
-
Please use the A button for once
-
See that pointy thing in your hand? That's a sword! FRICKING USE IT FOR ONCE!
-
See that pointy thing in your hand? That's a sword! FRICKING USE IT FOR ONCE!
-
his projectiles are amazing and his best options most of the time but his aerials and up B are great as well
also every projectiles combo into kill moves/other projectiles
-
Up B is a great GTFO move ESPECIALLY out of shield
-
Opponent at 80-100% = Bow > bow > bow > repeat until offstage > up-b. They die and it looks sick as ****.
-
charging neutral b? nah, just spam it
-
Just keep using arrows. If they get close, slash them, then resume your arrows.
-
Just use Toon Link instead he has better games
