Mario vs Cloud

In the matchup against Cloud, Mario can take advantage of his superior aerial mobility to pressure Cloud with forward aerials, especially when he’s at the ledge. Use Fludd to disrupt Cloud's recovery if you manage to knock him off stage, as it can push him further away and deny him his limit. Additionally, try to bait out Cloud's up-B out of shield; if you can predict it, you can use Fludd to reflect his limit Blade Beam, turning his offensive options against him. Positioning yourself well to exploit Mario's combo potential will keep Cloud on the defensive, allowing you to dominate the stage.
