Link
A TierLink excels at zoning and controlling space with his projectiles, particularly using his Bow and Arrows to pressure opponents from a distance while the Boomerang can help disrupt their approach. To maximize his potential, focus on placing the Remote Bomb strategically, conditioning your opponent to either shield or avoid it, which can open up opportunities for grabs or follow-up attacks. However, Link struggles against aggressive characters who can close the distance quickly and capitalize on his slower projectiles, so be wary of opponents who can punish your attempts to zone. Keeping mobile and utilizing the Spin Attack for recovery or to break through pressure can help mitigate these weaknesses.

Tips for Link
- Link's bomb works as a psychological zoning option: place it where you don't want your opponent to be. This strategy is best against enemies with powerful and predictable projectiles.
- A well placed low nair can pop a stationary bomb to a different location of the stage without picking it up and throwing it off edge. The movement is subtle but it gives you more control of the bomb.
- Since Link's bomb blows up if it comes into contact with fire, throwing it onto recoveries that have such properties is a good strategy. (Fox, Falco...)
- While walking, Link still has his Hylian Shield pulled up. This means you can freely press forward against enemy projectiles as long as you aren't running.
- A zoning Link is easily punishable with an aggressive push and punish game. If he spawns a bomb, charge at him. If he throws a boomerang, use your shield to cancel it back at him (or reflect it).
