Mii Swordfighter Hero Matchups and Tips

Mii Swordfighter

B Tier

Mii Swordfighter excels in versatile combo potential and strong aerial attacks, making them a formidable opponent when played aggressively. Utilizing Gale Strike can set up great follow-ups, particularly with Up Special, Stone Scabbard, which can secure early kills at lower percentages. However, be cautious of Mii Swordfighter's vulnerability at close range, as many of their moves, including Gale Strike, leave them open to punishment if missed. They can struggle against characters with strong zoning tools or quick punishes that exploit their slower moves and recovery options.

Tips for Mii Swordfighter

  • Wii Fit Trainer kinda thick not gonna lie
  • 1x3x is a favourable moveset to use. NeutralB1 has fixed knockback, and following up with an UpB3 can kill as low as 50% on some characters! Respect this and use it wisely as its very punishable!
  • If you use the Gale Neutral B you can follow up really well when your opponent is hit with almost any aerial. Up Air and if you have it the Hero Spin Up Special are very good follow-ups and kill early
  • Sword's edgeguarding is broken, most of his/her moves including the tornado and chakram are good for two-framing and catching their opponent off stage. If you're above him/her, expect a 50%+ juggle.
  • I main swordfighter, the variability is the most odd part. You need to counterpick moves against certain players. Like shulk but on steroids, low key high mid tier
