Be cautious against characters with reflectors or absorbers like Ness and Lucas, as they can nullify much of your explosive game. Focus on creating openings with your down throw into up tilt for kill confirms when your opponent is at high percentages, ensuring you capitalize on Snake's strengths while mitigating his vulnerabilities.

Tips for Snake
- You can drop a C-4 in mid-air and immediately detonate it to propel yourself upwards and get your Cypher Up-B back. Use it when really low offstage to recover (almost) infinitely!
- Grenades explode instantly when an opponents attack hits it. Use it to your advantage when getting juggled!
- At 160% Down throw an enemy and immediately do uptilt. It's a kill confirm on the whole cast.
- Snake's C-4 can be hard to keep track of, so it has less of a psychological effect than Link's Remote Bomb. The element of surprise is greater, though.
