When playing Bowser against Link, focus on closing the distance quickly to mitigate the impact of Link's ranged attacks, like his boomerang and remote bomb. Utilize Bowser's armor on his side special, Koopa Klaw, to shrug off some of Link's projectiles while approaching. Once you're in close quarters, use Bowser's powerful grab game and up special, Flying Slam, to capitalize on Link's relatively low weight and secure early knockouts.
