When playing Captain Falcon against King Dedede, focus on staying close to pressure him, as his long-range attacks can keep you at bay. Be particularly wary of Dedede’s F-Air, which can easily lead to offstage situations; use your N-Air to challenge his aerials and maintain center stage. Watch for his Gordos and use your Side-B to deflect them, creating opportunities for follow-up combos. Additionally, if he begins to use N-Air on your shield, anticipate a tomahawk grab and be ready to punish with a quick response.
Tips for Captain Falcon vs King Dedede
Weird even, just try not to get strung offstage by F-Air, and keep an eye out for when they like to N-Air, if they get punished for N-Airing on shield, they’ll just tomahawk you. Punish preemptively.
Watch out for his gordos and try to stay close to him as possible because he’ll try to keep distance with his long range attacks and I guess you side b to fend off his gordos and start a combo
