When playing Cloud against Bowser, focus on utilizing your aerial mobility and spacing to avoid Bowser's predictable landing options like down air and Bowser Bomb. Bait these moves out and punish with well-timed up tilts or an F-smash once he lands. Charge your Limit Break as much as possible, as it not only enhances your kill potential but can also serve as a strong approach tool with Limit Blade Beam or Cross Slash. Remember to watch out for Bowser's up B out of shield; if he uses it, capitalize on the recovery lag by punishing him accordingly.
Tips for Cloud vs Bowser
Bowser's only landing tools are his downair and bowser bomb, both which are easily readable and punishable by either uptilts and baiting them out, or wait till they land and hard punish with an fsmash
Bowser's upb is a great out of shield, combo breaker tool with decent range. Fortunately, it doesn't do much shield damage and it's easily punishable if shielded.
I personally don't like fighting Bowser as any character, but all I can say is to primarily focus on charging your limit. Then keep using side B. Nair also works wonders.
Don't die. If you don't die then you have a much higher chance of winning.
