In the matchup against Snake, use Cloud's mobility to pressure him aggressively, especially when he’s setting up explosives. Be mindful of his C4 and grenades; detonate them with your neutral B to create openings for a rush-in attack. Stick to close-range combat, as Snake struggles there, and use your up B to counter his dash attack effectively. Offstage, avoid trying to spike him; instead, focus on using your down B to disrupt his recovery and maintain stage control.
Tips for Cloud vs Snake
Watch for C4, stay aggressive, avoid grenades. Snake has limited amount of tools for close range, don’t let them knock you off stage. Use up be to destroy their dash attack.
Try and detonate his explosives with neutral B, then bum rush him when he's open. Don't bother trying to spike him, he recovery will let him get out of the way easily. Use down B when offstage.
