Cloud vs Wolf
When facing Wolf as Cloud, utilize your Blade Beam to zone him out, as it won't be interrupted by his laser. Focus on keeping Wolf airborne with your N-air, especially on stages like Battlefield where you can capitalize on his weaker aerial game. Punish his whiffed Side B with a quick aerial or a combo starting from D-Tilt if you're close enough, but be wary of his fast options afterward, like a shield. Lastly, remember that Wolf's aggressive playstyle can be exploited; if you anticipate his approach, you can set up for a finishing blow while keeping your distance from his lethal moves.
Tips for Cloud vs Wolf
- 1. Blade beam and Wolf's laser do not collide so keep that in mind 2. N-airs are quite useful (especially on battlefield)
- Wolf is extremely quick (duh), so go for the punish when he whiffs his side b. Try to keep Wolf airborne, but still be cautious of his side b and up b, and remember, he doesn't prefer the air.
- If you are relatively close to Wolf you can D-Tilt under laser and hit him for a combo. Also, do not try to punish moves like fair or dash attack, punish the option they do afterwards (sheild, etc.)
- Make sure to talk about his dead mom
- live and stop dying against the character
