- care about his focus (u dont have a lot of multi hits) space your smashes to be safer push him off stage and spyke his side b or shield it if he is on the ledge than punish him
- Spacing is key for this fight, try and make sure every single one of your hits just barely strike Ryu. Do this and you can out space all of Ryu's close range attacks.
- Down throw to Nair at 0%, grab ryu out of focus since that’s Gabon’s only multi hit or doing an aerial down b but it’s more risky, shield and maybe parry projectiles and avoid getting to close to ryu
- Side special and neutral special combo, spike and up smash, down special will also work wonders against him.
