- Don't overuse Gordos. Pikachu's small size and quick projectile makes it more of a hazard to you than them. Use it as an edge guarding tool to instead limit Pikachu's options. Play patiently.
- Pick your secondary or maybe dtilt to clank with thunder jolt
- Just camp. It's lame, yeah, but playing overconfident against this small, yellow rat will only lead you into a combo chain. Don't overuse gordo; his neutral b will just nullify it. Inhale helps.
- Inhale, f-air, b-air, & f-tilt are your best friends for keeping the yellow rat from comboing you into infinity. Get them off stage & edgeguard like crazy. Don't use gordo much because thunder jolt.
- Only use gordo occasionally because he can use his N-B but because a lot of his moves are multi hits they sometimes just ignore Pikachu’s hits completely
