In the matchup against Ganondorf, leverage Lucas's superior spacing and projectiles to keep the fearsome fighter at bay. Use PK Fire to interrupt Ganondorf's approaches, especially against his Flame Choke, and maintain distance with your forward aerial to punish his slow moves. When Ganondorf is offstage, capitalize on his low recovery with PK Thunder, as a well-placed hit can secure an early stock. Focus on controlling the stage and pushing him towards the ledge, where you can set up for a down smash or PK Freeze to finish him off.
Tips for Lucas vs Ganondorf
Just let him ganoncide you. You instantly win because child murder is illegal.
Ganondorf will generally recover low. Use PK Thunder as an edgeguard tool - an offstage Ganondorf is a dead Ganondorf.
While Ganondorf is very scary up close, Lucas has tools to keep Ganon out of range. Just play cautious. Lucas has almost perfect spacing - good tools to bait attacks and stay just out of range. F-Air!
Using PK Fire is a good strategy to ward off Flame Choke. If you can keep him from having a dominant state on you, you can work him to the ledge and down smash/PK Freeze to finish him off.
