When playing Lucas against Incineroar, utilize Short Hop followed by PK Fire to bait Incineroar into either jumping or shielding. If they jump, capitalize on it with a Full Hop PK Fire; if they shield, go for a grab to initiate a combo. Be cautious near the ledge, as challenging Incineroar's recovery can lead to getting caught by his Up B or Side B, so focus on using PK Thunder to disrupt his return instead. If Incineroar attempts to land on stage with Up B, dash away to avoid the hitbox, then punish the end lag with a grab to send him back offstage.
Tips for Lucas vs Incineroar
Short Hop > PK Fire to condition Incineroar to jump or shield. If they jump, Full Hop > PK Fire. If they shield, Grab.
Don't challenge Incineroar's recovery. You'll either get grabbed by Side B, they'll escape with their quick Up B, or even catch you in the Up B if you're too close.
Mess with Incineroar's recovery with PK Thunder.
If Incineroar tries to land on stage with Up B, watch out for the hitbox, especially if they have Revenge, as it can kill. Dash away, then grab them during end lag, and throw them offstage again.
