When playing Lucas against Isabelle, focus on using your Zair frequently to poke and control space, as it can keep her at bay while you look for openings. Avoid relying on your Up B for recovery, as the Snake Rope is more reliable and less predictable, allowing you to maintain an edge against her projectile game. Since Isabelle can only pocket one projectile at a time, use your PK Freeze strategically to bait her and capitalize on her limited options. Be mindful of your spacing; avoid committing to moves with high end lag like Up Smash, and instead use your aerials to punish her when she overextends.
Tips for Lucas vs Isabelle
Avoid using up B as much as possible, use the snake rope recovery instead. She can only pocket one projectile at a time, (she can't absorb PK freeze). use zair often onstage and dair to spike.
Lucas is pretty slow compared to Isabelle so try not to use up smash or other moves that have a lot of end lag. Her smash attacks have pretty bad range so spacing is very important.
