In the matchup against King Dedede, utilize Mario's fireballs to effectively reflect Gordos, as they can travel back at high speed and catch Dedede off guard. When Dedede is on the ground, capitalize on your superior speed to weave in and out, using your up smash to punish his landing or shield options. Tips for Mario vs King Dedede
- You don't need cape to reflect gordos, just approach with fireball and it will reflect the gordos in a high speed, much better than cape. But do notice that they can suck the gordo and spit it back.
