In the matchup against Joker, utilize Steve's superior frame data to keep your distance and control the pace of the game. Use your blocks strategically to hinder Joker's recovery options and limit his approach, especially when he has Arsene available. Incorporate the Minecart to close the gap safely, and don’t hesitate to use TNT to create pressure and force Joker into unfavorable positions. Remember to employ Down Tilt to gimp his recovery and trigger Arsene at earlier percentages, ensuring he has less access to his powerful abilities later in the match.
Tips for Steve vs Joker
use Steve's block to your advantage, blocking (get it?) jokers attacks.
Try to trigger Arsene at earlier percents so that he won't be there at later percents. If they hold counter, grab, or hold a Smash attack until it ends.
Try to use the Minecart when you can so you can close in safely. Don't be afraid to get risky with the TNT either.
Gimp their recovery with Down Tilt. You can also block the ledge with blocks, since Joker has to ledge snap with grappler unless he has Arsene. Camp as much as possible if they do.
