Cloud's projectile game is pretty weak. Playing a projectile/spacie game with patience should be enough to deal with him using Banjo, not to mention Neutral B countering his Down B.

Furthermore, you don't want to get near Cloud at all, so that means more Wonderwings for recovering. Speaking of, Banjo's edgeguarding game, especially his dtilt, is pretty strong against Cloud.

While it's fine to smack Cloud with a few aerials, you shouldn't get hyperagressive about it unless you want to get juggled hard. This also applies to all sword characters in general.
