Whenever Diddy uses Banana Peel, be prepared to use Arm Rotor to reflect said peel back at him.

Diddy Kong suffers when it comes to range in SSBU. His many movement options have been nerfed and it is very easy to gimp RocketBarrel Boost using a Gyro or fully charged Robo Beam.

When in the air, use forward or neutral aerial to negate any peanuts or banana peels. All of R.O.B.'s aerials have minimal ending lag, making it an effective tactic.

R.O.B. has an innate quirkiness when it comes to the positioning of his hurtboxes. Use this knowledge to keep an element of surprise when a surefire combo doesn't work.
