Mario
B TierMario excels at close-range combat with a versatile moveset that allows for effective combos and edge-guarding. Utilize his Fireball to pressure opponents and set up grabs, and follow up with a Down-Throw into Up-Tilt for early damage. His Cape is an excellent tool for intercepting recoveries or reflecting projectiles, and F.L.U.D.D. can disrupt certain characters' recoveries, particularly against those like Simon or Cloud. However, Mario struggles against swordfighters who can outrange him, making it essential to use his agility and combo potential to outmaneuver opponents and avoid direct confrontations.
