Counter Tips

  • Ganondorf will generally recover low. Use PK Thunder as an edgeguard tool - an offstage Ganondorf is a dead Ganondorf.
  • While Ganondorf is very scary up close, Lucas has tools to keep Ganon out of range. Just play cautious. Lucas has almost perfect spacing - good tools to bait attacks and stay just out of range. F-Air!
  • Using PK Fire is a good strategy to ward off Flame Choke. If you can keep him from having a dominant state on you, you can work him to the ledge and down smash/PK Freeze to finish him off.
  • Just let him ganoncide you. You instantly win because child murder is illegal.
