When you’re playing this match up as joker play aggressive but smart

If you're playing as Steve, keep your distance and push Joker away with Steve's excellent frame data and moves.

use Steve's block to your advantage, blocking (get it?) jokers attacks.

Try to use the Minecart when you can so you can close in safely. Don't be afraid to get risky with the TNT either.

Gimp their recovery with Down Tilt. You can also block the ledge with blocks, since Joker has to ledge snap with grappler unless he has Arsene. Camp as much as possible if they do.

Try to trigger Arsene at earlier percents so that he won't be there at later percents. If they hold counter, grab, or hold a Smash attack until it ends.
