Terry vs Ken
In the matchup against Ken, leverage Terry’s shield to absorb his rapid-fire attacks, as many do minimal shield damage. While you’re holding the shield, use that time to charge your input for the B move, setting up a strong punish for his Shoryuken when he commits. Stay aware of your spacing; if Ken is too close, he can pressure you with his combos, so maintain a distance that allows you to react to his moves. Look for opportunities to counterattack after his flurries, and remember that your inputs can outpace his if you anticipate his attack patterns.
Tips for Terry vs Ken
- A fun matchup. My suggestion is that if Ken performs the inputs, perform your own input versions of your moves and combos, and use the time the Ken is preparing his to your advantage.
- Many of Kens attacks do little shield damage, and you can usually afford to keep your shield up against his flurry of attacks. Use the time while shielding to charge input up B to punish his shoryuken
