His Egg Lay can disrupt opponents and set up for powerful combos, while his Up Smash is a reliable kill option due to its range and effectiveness. Yoshi struggles against characters with disjointed hitboxes, as they can keep him at bay and exploit his lack of range on the ground, so be mindful of spacing and mix up your approach with defensive eggs and aggressive aerials.
