Since Ganon loses this matchup hard. The best advice is to wait for the other player to make a mistake. Punish Pikachu's laggier moves (which isn't many), and try to avoid T-jolts as best you can.
-
The only piece of advice for this matchup, is just to not do it. You have no hope. Watch an ESAM vs Vermanubis video.
-
Pikachu low-profiles most of Ganon's options But hey, thats Pikachu for you🤷♂️ So you'll have to try and time your aerials closer to the ground. Up-air and Bair are safe bets if you space properly
-
Play as patiently as you can, since Pikachu will control the flow of the match from the outset. Don't edgeguard, only as a mix-up, ledgetrap well, and approach slowly or else Pikachu will blow you up.
-
When it's using his back air combo and it takes you offstage, keep the DI up and wait until it does the second jump and back air. It's risky, but use down B. You'll spike it and maybe you'll survive
-
give up
-
Pray that he’s bad and get a read. That’s all you can do.
-
If Pikachu has you off stage, hope and pray that they choke their edge guard somehow and let you recover. Because 9 times out of 10, Pikachu WILL edgeguard you.
-
Cry
-
when you are playing against a spamming tryhard ganondorf that is using an alt account with 2 million gsp against you and you are playing pikachu trying to get good at the game you have no hope
-
If you are playing ganondorf don't worry all you have to do is spam smash attacks and wizards foot and you whould be killing at around -16,000,000,000,00,000 percent
-
CRY
-
This matchup sucks *****. You can read with a move that wont leave you too vulnerable like nair and up air, but many many times you will get punished. Also mixup your recovery.
-
Realize you lost on the css. Reflect on your life decisions and cry onstage to make the Pika player feel sad(given they aren't too far gone). Then SD in the match and make him wanna throw the match.
